Differentiated hypotheses
Independent research into market behaviour, structure, and systematic return sources that may sit outside crowded product shelves.
Independent quant research / Capital relevance
We originate systematic trading ideas, challenge them with statistical validation and realistic implementation constraints, then publish the evidence an investor needs to judge robustness, diversification potential, and mandate fit.
The proposition
A clever signal is not enough. We develop the evidence required to decide whether an idea is distinct, durable, implementable, and useful beside existing exposures.
Independent research into market behaviour, structure, and systematic return sources that may sit outside crowded product shelves.
Out-of-sample evidence, regime splits, parameter sensitivity, costs, drawdowns, and explicit reasons an idea may fail.
Correlation, marginal risk, liquidity, capacity, and implementation questions needed to assess an idea inside an existing book.
Research-to-capital pipeline
The work is designed to expose fragility early. Attractive statistics must survive competing explanations, realistic frictions, and the portfolio questions that determine whether an edge is useful to capital.
State the market mechanism, expected edge, and evidence that would reject it.
Separate discovery from out-of-sample assessment and benchmark against simpler explanations.
Vary regimes, parameters, costs, slippage, timing, and data assumptions instead of protecting one attractive backtest.
Examine correlation, drawdown overlap, tail behaviour, liquidity, capacity, and operational demands.
Publish the evidence trail and open diligence with capital or research partners when the fit is credible.
Why capital should care
The objective is not another isolated backtest. It is to discover and validate return behaviour that may improve a portfolio's opportunity set, especially when conventional exposures become crowded or move together.
Diversification is treated as a measurable research question—not a label. Every serious discussion must include dependency, drawdown overlap, scale, and implementation risk.
For allocators, funds, and research teams
PRO QUANT TRADE is building a public record of independent ideas and their validation. Where the evidence and mandate align, the next step is focused diligence or research collaboration—not a retail signal sale.
